Charlie Feathers - Liaison Field
Rockabilly founder member
Feathers mixed blues with bluegrass and then stirred it with some country to make his own vibrant form of rockabilly, infusing his musical output with a distinct individuality and energy. This compilation LP packs singles and B-sides from 1956 to ’58, which initially appeared on both the Sun and King label. They present Feathers in complete command of his art, with swiftness of delivery and force of personality on such cuts as I’ve Been Deceived, We’re Getting Closer To Being Apart and the classic Bottle To The Baby.
