Clear Approach - Trillion

1980 nine-song effort from US AOR merchants

While never as commercially successful as similar bands such as Styx, the quintet led by singer Thom Griffin crafted some sweet AOR/pomp-rock in that vein, as evidenced by the full-on harmony vocals of Love Me Anytime or the Broadway show-style Cities. The rock quotient is upped with the stomping Make It Last Forever and Promises, while tempo and atmosphere shifts, such as on the romping What Can You Do, which will appeal to followers of Saga. An unissued bonus cut is more of the same Styxian brew.
