Thirty years after Elvis left the building, 75,000 dedicated fans remembered and celebrated everything that is The King in his hometown. His music, his movies and his magic. At the massive three-day expo, fans shopped till they dropped and at the retro Rockabilly’s diner, incognito celebrities feasted. There was also an awesome two-day outdoor film fest and, at the elegant Peabody Hotel, Memphis Mafia members affectionately reunited. At the exclusive Insiders’ conference, The King’s former queen, Priscilla, spoke touchingly. And at the magnificent anniversary concert finale, princess Lisa Marie magically sang the poignant duet, In The Ghetto, and at a moving Candlelight Vigil his devoted fans respectfully queued for the peaceful Meditation Garden. Long may The King reign.
