A LOVE SUPREME
I’m catching up on a backlog of RCs! Regarding your review of the Beatles Love CD in issue 331 where the reviewer writes ‘Listening to Love for the first time is such an immensely moving experience it makes you want to cry’: I deliberately avoided listening to the CD as I had booked to see the show in Vegas in April - and I cried!
What an incredible experience. As the reviewer says, the music is immensely moving, but when you add the Cirque du Soliel trapeze artists, trampolinists and roller bladers dressed as Sgt Pepper characters it became too much for me.
I recommend this show to everyone in the world whether Beatles fans or not. I wish I had the vocabulary to adequately convey how extraordinary this show is.
