PRICKLY CUSTOMER
In the Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree interview (RC368), I was surprised by his negative comments of Yes. He states that they only made good music for the first 10 years of their career. If you listen to Porcupine Tree’s wonderful album Stupid Dream (pictured), it is obvious that Steven Wilson has plundered Yes’ back catalogue for inspiration, with several tracks heavily influenced by the Yes/Trevor Rabin era, the very era he criticises. Looking forward to both Yes and Porcupine Tree gigs in the coming months.
