UNFAIR TO JOE
What was Nick Moran thinking about with the Telstar movie? Why did he feel the need to make up story lines and distort the truth? All the advertising hype says it’s a true story! It is particularly distasteful and abhorrent with regard to the final scenes, including ‘Patrick Pink’ going on holiday, kissing etc. This is a catastrophic waste of a great opportunity to give Joe Meek some credit for his life’s work, but instead he comes across as a gun-toting arrogant monster. At least we got the chance to witness Joe’s wizardry first hand, dropping marbles down the toilet. Wow, thanks Nick, your years of research were worth that revelation. This effort could possibly rank as one of the biggest injustices regarding films about real people and popular music.
