MARLEYS LEGACY
In RC351 you mention that Celia Cedella Malcolm (nee Booker) Bob Marley’s mother died. Bob also died in the same hospital in 1981 at the age of 36 from cancer. A lot of Bob Marley fans thought that he died in Germany. Wrong! Also, film makers are trying to film Bob’s life story but they are still having problems. Ziggy Marley (Bob’s son) was chosen to play his dad, but he turned it down. Bob Marley lost his dad when he was ten years old and his mother and Bob’s older sister went to America. His mother remarried there. By then Bob was 18. He was already in the music business and he already had a girlfriend who he later married (Rita Anderson)
