THAT’S THE SPIRIT
I read with interest that Jimmy Page (RC 349) was a fan of Spirit, a band I have recently re-discovered. While playing their first album the other day one of their songs caught my attention, Taurus, from their first album. Surely one JP should add Randy California’s name to the writing credits for Stairway To Heaven? Jimmy says “the introduction fell into place at Bron-Y-Aur”. My bet is that Spirit was playing on the turntable at the time!
