FOR MERSEY’S SAKE
I’m sure that I’m not the only one who was surprised to find that the ‘Ferry across the Mersey’ sailed between Liverpool and Birmingham (Gerry Marsden interview,RC 349).Not unless it sails on dry land,it doesn’t. It, of course sails between Liverpool and Birkenhead.
