GOT US OVER A BURRELL
I noticed in the new issue of RC in the Shop Talk feature on Beatin’ Rhythm it mentions that the current owner of one of the two known copies of Frank Wilson’s Do I Love You was sold to ‘jazz guitarist Kenny Burrell’ for £15,000. This should read Scottish soul DJ Kenny Burrell, who can be seen with his copy of the disc balanced rather precariously in this You Tube clip: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dG6WALVcHW4.
