HANDLE WITH CAUTION

Whilst trawling through charity shops in Cambridge I came across 12 vinyl cut-outs of the 1980 Barry Manilow album Barry. The albums were all brand-new and shrink-wrapped. The good folks at BMG, ever cautious of the negative nature that some music brings with it, had put on a “Factory-Sealed For Your Protection” sticker. I thought this was very thoughtful of them. I bought up every copy at 50p each and will be giving them to my friends as Christmas presents. With the warning intact, naturally.
