BROWNED OFF

Can I just point out a few errors in the James Brown article (RC 333). It states that Cold Sweat was recorded in 1967 for Polydor and that Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag was recorded two years earlier for Polygram. They were of course both recorded for King as he didn’t move from King to Polydor until 1971. Polydor started releasing his King material in some countries outside of the USA in 1968 but that was obviously after the above two records were released. Also his backing band were The Famous Flames and not The Flaming Flames.
