Competitions

Sony have kindly handed us x 10 copies of Jimi Hendrix’s posthumous album ‘Valleys of Neptune’, which this magazine gave 5 stars!

‘Gems abound – from a radically psychedelicised version of Cream’s Sunshine Of Your Love and newly-arranged renditions of both Fire and Red House. There’s a vivid cover of Elmore James’ classic blues Bleeding Heart (with Cox and drummer Rocky Isaac) and the ruminative Ships Passing Through The Night, from the original Experience’s final recording session on 4 April 1969. Hard to believe it’s been that long.’ – Gary von Tersch, Record Collector magazine.

"To be in with a chance of winning simply tell us what bodily anomaly did Hendrix’s father have?

Email your answers to eden.guin@metropolis.co.uk before 31st March 2012. Please note, by taking part in this competition you also will be signed up to our weekly newsletter."
