AC/DC are among the few timeless bands who – no matter how many new generations of fans they acquire – will always remain as legendary Rock’n’Roll giants. As their recent Black Ice and world tour demonstrate, their place as rock royalty remains as strong as ever, and they have sway over one of the largest and most dedicated fanbases in the world. Not bad for a band who started in the pubs of Australia way back in 1973, and have scrapped their way to the top via the long road they call the Highway To Hell.
During their 35 year – and continuing – career, AC/DC have overshadowed and outshone some of the biggest bands in the world. As one of the biggest-selling bands of all time, they have issued an array of albums, singles, and promo items, along with a glut of collectables that enthrall their many dedicated followers around the world. Many of the rarest AC/DC collectables are now becoming harder to find, and their value is increasing dramatically, ignited by the advent of internet auctions and the resultant bidding from all over the world.
