T hose collectors able to explore the Dark Side Of The Moon will know what a minefield the collector’s field is for a major artist like the Floyd. One of Britain’s most successful rock bands in both the albums and stadium market, it’s easy to forget that their first five singles (issued on Columbia in the UK at the tail-end of the 60s) all flopped, and then they failed to threaten the UK singles market for over 10 years.

While The Wall album and its spin-off ‘Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)’ 7" were both major hits, the peak of Floyd collecting comes from the psychedelic, Syd-led era. The UK singles will easily fetch £50+, while promos in picture sleeves in Mint condition can easily surpass the RRPG’s price mark of £750.
